Photoshop For Tablet PCs And Phones
Adobe is working hard on a complex version of the Photoshop program that can run on Tablet PCs and mobile phones. Kevin Lynch, Adobe CTO, recently demonstrated the Adobe Max conference two applications (which are still in concept stage) involving the Tablet PC and connect to a secondary display to get more display space. People from Adobe are considering both independent applications for Tablet PCs, and applications such as “companion” to grow with your mobile device the performance of Photoshop running on an ordinary PC.
In the Adobe Max Conference, John Nack, Adobe Systems program manager, and Kevin Lynch, Adobe CTO, demonstrate two interesting pPhotoshop applications for the Tablet PC. The two have been demonstrated in a Samsung Galaxy Tab and a iPad.
The first application was a for the Tablet PC version of the UIR feature “Content Aware Fill ‘available in Photoshop CS5.
- in the demonstration, Kevin Lynch finger painted a grouse on a green field. This application lets you edit images directly on the Tablet PC.
The second application was a digital array ( “painter’s palette” ) used to select, mix and paint colors that were to be used on a computer connected to the Tablet PC.
